The screens you own can run Premium IPTV UK, Fire TV Stick first

App: TiviMate (free to download), fetched with Downloader

1. If Downloader is not on the stick yet, add it and allow unknown-source installs as described in the section above.
2. In Downloader, enter the address of the official page where TiviMate is published by its maker.
3. After the download finishes, hit Install and then Open to launch TiviMate.
4. Pick Add playlist inside TiviMate, then the option that wants address, username and password rather than a file.
5. Type or paste the emailed entries and confirm. TiviMate then fills up with channel groups.
6. Pick any group, pick a channel, and check the picture.

Use TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro on the stick, not both. Either way the login is the same one.

App: TiviMate (free to download), from Google Play

1. Start Google Play from the apps row of your TV.
2. Look up TiviMate, install it and launch it.
3. Select Add playlist, then the login type that has boxes for address, username and password.
4. Paste in your emailed details and confirm.
5. Give it a few seconds to build the channel groups, then browse.

Both names share these steps, whichever label is printed on the box.

App: IBO Player (free), from the TV's own app store

1. Head for the TV's app store. Samsung keeps it under Apps, while LG calls it the LG Content Store.
2. Find IBO Player there, install it and start it.
3. The display shows a device key, followed by the TV's MAC address. Write both down, or photograph the screen with your phone.
4. From your phone or a laptop, go to the activation page for IBO Player and enter the key and the MAC exactly as the TV shows them.
5. Still on that page, add the emailed server address, username and password, then save.
6. Return to the TV, quit IBO Player and reopen it so the list can load.

Typing a username and password on the TV by itself does not set up IBO Player. If the app is missing from your TV's store, email support with the TV's model.

App: IBO Player (free), via the tvOS App Store

1. From the Apple TV's main menu, open the tvOS App Store and search for IBO Player.
2. Download it and open it. The screen shows a device key, then a MAC address; copy both somewhere safe.
3. Using a phone or computer, type both onto IBO Player's activation page.
4. Add the emailed server address, username and password there too, and save.
5. Back on the Apple TV, relaunch IBO Player. The channel list should appear.

A device key mixes letters with digits, so read each character twice before saving.

App: IPTV Smarters Pro (free), from the App Store

1. Search the App Store for IPTV Smarters Pro and install it.
2. Start the app and take the login form with address, username and password fields.
3. Keep the welcome message open in your phone's mail app, then copy each entry across.
4. Let the lists load and tap Live TV.

An iPad follows the identical path, just with more room on screen.

1. Go to Google Play on the handset and find IPTV Smarters Pro.
2. Install, then launch.
3. Pick the login form that has address, username and password fields.
4. Copy the emailed entries in and confirm.
5. When the lists have loaded, open Live TV.

Phones and tablets are not on TiviMate's list of devices here, so the player here is IPTV Smarters Pro.

App: IPTV Smarters Pro for desktop (free)

1. From the computer, visit the official page where the app maker publishes IPTV Smarters Pro and grab the build for Windows or for Mac.
2. Run the downloaded installer. Your system may ask permission first.
3. Start IPTV Smarters Pro, then select the login form that has address, username and password fields.
4. Fill in the emailed entries and confirm.
5. Let the lists load, then open Live TV.

Handy when the big TV is spoken for. The login is the same on a laptop as on the stick.

Portal address plus the box's MAC address; no app

1. Plug the MAG box into the TV and your router, then power it on until its start screen shows.
2. Turn the box over; its label carries the MAC address. Keep it somewhere close.
3. Dive into the settings menu and find the portal entry. Menu names vary between boxes.
4. Put the portal address from the welcome email into that entry and save.
5. Reboot the box and give the lineup a moment to come through the portal.
6. If the portal stays blank, write to support quoting the MAC from the box's label plus the email used when you ordered.

No IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or IBO Player is involved here. The portal and the MAC do everything.
